Photo shows a Manitoba Maple, the oldest tree planted by Anton Winkler, owner of the Grand Union Hotel which was on this site. In mid-June mature Black Locust trees bloom on Hedley's main street, Scott Ave. and Haynes. There are five unidentified children around the tree.
