Oldest planted tree in Hedley

Photo shows volunteer erecting an explanatory sign in front of what was believed to be the oldest planted living tree in Hedley. Planted in approximately 1910 by Anton Winkler, this Manitoba Maple is located on the former site of the Grand Union Hotel, at the NW corner of Scott and Haynes.
