People on bed prepared for Hedley Gold Mine Company's water flume

From the Boeing Collection pg 6b. Small group of people standing on the leveled 'road' bed prepared for the water flume construction. Wood cribbing and stone work supported the flat, road like foundation for the water flume that was constructed bringing water from the dam to the power house. Flume was on the south west side of the Similkameen. Portions of flume bed are still visible below the dam.
