This bunch hiked to Penticton via Nickel Plate Lake. First day hiking up the zig zag trail (Donkey Trail), to Nickel Plate Mine, first night camp was near Nickel Plate Lake, second night in the wilds east of Apex Mountain, third night in Penticton. This was to have been an annual hike but John Wood, the teacher left Hedley.
