ONE STUDENT, ONE FAMILY, A THOUSAND MEMORIES COLUMBIA BASIN TRUST REQUEST FOR INVESTMENT PROPOSALS The Trust request proposals for immediate investment in well-researched opportunities in solid local businesses and attractive real estate properties in the Columbia Basin. The Trust manages a $45 million legacy capital fund for the benefit of Basin residents. The Trust's July, 1997 Management Plan directs that the fund be invested in the Basin primarily to earn income for the Trust's spending programs. The Trust, through its investment program wants to work with residents and local businesses to expand opportunities, stimulate the economy, and create jobs in the region. Investments will be made according to the principles set out in the Columbia Basin Management Plan.
