Reverend Despard, the Vicar of Vernon

Despard had two sons. The eldest, Marcus Carden Despard, was killed in action in W.W. I on July 19, 1917 at age 20. His second son, Raymond Despard of Vernon or 'Bunny' married Dora. His daughter Constance Beaty married a Harley Street doctor and lived in England. The reverend lived in Vernon at Rattlesnake Point in a home called "Crystal Waters."
