Tugs York and Kelowna at dock in Summerland. Possibly Trout Creek in background. Crew posing on bow of the Kelowna. The S.S. York was a steam tug used to haul freight. Built in 1902 by Bertram Iron Works of Toronto and assembled at Okanagan Landing. Worked Okanagan Lake until 1921 then relocated to Skaha Lake (Dog Lake) where it transported passengers on the lake and up the river channel in Penticton. It was sold in 1931 to Sid Leary of Naramata and later scrapped. "Phil Rounds" written in ink on back of photo.
