This photograph is taken near the present-day intersection of Spencer and Reservoir Roads and shows the following communal buildings in the foreground (l-r): sawmill, horse stable, and blacksmith shop. Behind these three buildings can be seen two brick two-story communal homes which were known as 'Gritchin Village', and in the background, directly above the right communal home, can be seen another single brick communal home in the distance known as the 'Arishenkoff Village'. The mountain hills in the background are: Spencer Hill/Hardy Mountain (left) and Saddle Mountain (right).
