The Windermere Valley Museum was established in the 1960s by the Windermere Valley Historical Society to acquire and preserve museum artifacts and archival documents from the Windermere Valley. Archival material includes documents, maps and photographs depicting various subjects including mining, farming, forestry and tourism in the area. The two largest fonds at the Museum are Columbia Valley Irrigated Fruit Land records and the personal papers of Basil Hamilton. For more information visit: https://www.windermerevalleymuseum.ca/ .
