Experience Profile – Dom Imnamkhao

Hi! I’m Dom Imnamkhao and I recently joined the Digitized Okanagan History team. I am a 4^th Year International student from Thailand and I’m currently majoring in International Relations at UBC Okanagan. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of an International Relations major, one of the few subjects I focus on is history, so I feel that this is a great hands-on experience with primary documents that allow us to learn and understand our history. Also, after having been in the Okanagan for three years, I realize how little I know about the history of the Okanagan, thus, I hope to be able learn more about it through this opportunity. As of now, I am working on scanning and digitizing materials from various repositories in the Okanagan.
