The Guy Constable collection includes black and white photographs of the development of the Alice Mine and Alice Siding area, as well as street scenes in the town of Creston and of the floodplains of the Kootenay River. The dates of these images range from 1905 to 1941. The original owner of these images, Guy Constable, arrived in Creston in 1904 as the local manager of the Alice Mine, and became a key figure in the Creston community.
