Excerpt from page 16 of "B.C.'s Inland Empire" by Erskine Burnett associated with this image: Next morning we went out on the lake to fish. It was a holiday and many were up from Kamloops for the day. A ball game was started in front of the camp and a band played. Rowing over these lakes is a pleasure in itself. We landed at another camp at the far end of the lake and were shown a new lure in the shape of a plug that never failed to catch 'em.
