Horses and men moving building to First Street
ca. 1908
1 photograph : black and white
Teams are from McCarty and Fleming Livery. Mr. Jamieson Crawford (Dan Crawford's father) was City Foreman. He is standing next to the man on the right leaning on pole. Building was brought up from lower town by Annie Mazzlin (later Mrs. Bert Crick). We know the building now as Williamson's Men's Wear. She intended to use building as her store - as she had in Lower Town. But she got the chance to get a 2 storey building which had been a butcher shop a few doors west for her store (apts. upstairs) so this building became a barber shop.
