“Journey of the log.” Marshalling area at the Kelowna International Regatta Parade. In sequence are wood products at various places in processing: log truck, lumber carrier, boxes, and Sylva-Ply. Sylva-Ply was the forerunner of plywood and a product of MacMillan Bloedel. Toward the end of the sequence are building supplies which would have been sold at the Kelowna Sawmill Co. retail outlet. A Sun-Rype float is also seen near the back. Note that the log truck load is secured with rigid struts rather than only with chains. Estimated date is adter 1945, likely around 1949.
